John Barr a resident of Mountain Lakes and the Branch Vice President of the Coldwell Banker Realty Mountain Lakes office has authored a novel titled “Summer of the Dragons." John is a former US Army Intelligence Officer and liaison to South Korean intelligence agencies. He worked at the National Liaison Team in Seoul and served as the Special Agent in Charge of the Seoul Field Office, 501st Military Intelligence Brigade. He studied Korean at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, California, served nearly six years in Korea, completed a tour at the National Security Agency as well as other tours of duty. He is a member of the Association of Former Intelligence Officers and is happily married and has two daughters. The novel's paperback release date July 29, 2022.
